Alabaster Wall by Rick Owens

A big project in collaboration with Waolab Studio. From a 3D scan (50x200cm) from Rick Owens sculpture prototype, I had to create a bigger model (420x1000cm) so a new pattern also, This new model was then splited in 70 pieces (70x100cm) to get printed directly in alabaster stone. It was rebuilt at MOCA Los Angeles for Rick Owens Exhibition.

Workflow :
1) I had to clean up the scan
2) I had to recreate the scan pattern and adapt it to the new wall
3) I splited it in 70 parts with Maya Boolean to get the right dimensions.
